Before the inception of Cofftea in 1978, Mr. Mohamed Salih Idris ventured into edible oils manufacturing and production via a sister company.
Today, Cofftea is ranked among the top importers of crude oil in Sudan, notably sunflower oil.
In a land of approximately 50,000 sq m., Cofftea is also planning to establish its own edible oil refinery soon, using fully automated filling lines. Furthermore, the by-product of the oil will be used in
animal feed; another market Cofftea will soon be entering.
